Who am I?
I'm Rain (My real name is Dhiren Sathvik Devineni). I do enjoy things like art, design, coding, baking, and cooking. I go to the International Academy East and I take art and French as my electives. I consider myself to be a pretty good person overall, even if I have my flaws. I do programming in Kotlin for Android, Arduino C, and HTML, and programming, art, and design are probably my favourite hobbies as I enjoy creating this for the world to see.

Why did I decide to take art?
I decided to take art because art and really anything using creativity always interested me, and I knew that art can also help build my hand-eye coordination, my creative thinking skills, and any skill that requires drawing, like graphic design. I also just really enjoy art in a way that I could never explain with any of my other subjects.

What is art to me?
Art to me is anything made with real passion for something. Whether it be music, a show, a movie, a poster, a game, really anything. I think art can be seen everywhere if you realize that basically everything can be art, and it doesn't matter how good or bad it is, because art is completely subjective, so someone could hate a piece of art while someone else might love that same piece.

Why I think others take art and how would it benefit you
I think that others should decide to take MYP art because art can be very useful and fun as a class because you can express your creativity a lot more, and you can learn a lot of stuff that can work both if you take art as a major, and even in other subjects. It sharpens your creative thinking skills, and for every major, you will need to think creatively, and outside the box. Art also lets you have access to easier communications with others, as drawing the idea in your head can be more effective then just saying it out loud. Art is just really fun, too!
